The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), BOM Foreign Investments and DAF Trucks invite US companies based in Brabant to attend a factory tour, presentation and networking cocktail on Wednesday April 6, at the DAF facility in Eindhoven.

DAF Trucks, a PACCAR company, is one of the fastest growing truck manufacturers in Europe. Ten years ago, DAF was smallest of all seven brands in terms of market share and is now battling for second position. The Eindhoven based truck producer is a leading example how successful the manufacturing industry can be in Western Europe.

Harrie Schippers, President of DAF Trucks, will share exclusive insights on how DAF weathered the economic downturn in a sector which is among the first to respond to fluctuations in the economy. After this presentation the Chief Engineer of DAF, Ron Borsboom, will outline how DAF strives for a leading industry position at the forefront of technical development and innovation in a competitive market increasingly focused on sustainability.
