Tuesday 15 December BOM Foreign Investments organized a well-visited China seminar at the High Tech Campus. For photographs click here. It is the second time the organization set up this event for Chinese and Taiwanese companies after a successful first gathering in 2007.
More than 90 people attended the seminar, and a group of 30 participants joined in on a tour of the High Tech Campus earlier in the afternoon. The High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE) co-organized the China seminar which offered participants lectures on taxation, open innovation, immigration law and M&A and labor law. Guest speakers were KPMG, Houthoff Buruma, Everaert Lawyers, HTCE and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA). After the presentations the seminar was concluded by a networking drink and buffet dinner at restaurant The Mart at the High Tech Campus.
BOM Foreign Investments intends to organize a China seminar every 2 years to inform Chinese and Taiwanese companies on the business climate in the Netherlands and Brabant in particular as well as offering a networking possibility for this particular business community.
