Russian gas giant Gazprom has opened a sales office in Den Bosch with the aim of capturing 15% of the business market within five years reports "Het Financieele Dagblad" last Thursday.

After establishing sales offices in Germany, Ireland, France and UK, the Netherlands is the fifth European country where Gazprom now has a sales presence. If ambitions will be realised it's expected the office in Den Bosch will grow to 50 to 75 employees in the next 5 years.

The city of Den Bosch, in the province of Brabant, is a central location in the Netherlands. It's also home to the headquarters of Essent, the largest energy company in the Netherlands. Essent is part of the RWE Group.
