The German company Bürkert develops and produces products and systems that can be used wherever fluid media and gases need to be measured, controlled and regulated. To add an extra impuls to the continuing expansion of the company, Bürkert decided to combine their offices in Utrecht and Wijnegem (Belgium) into one location in Breda.

The reason is not to saving costs and cutting staff, but the creation of a professional Benelux organization that aproaches the market from one culture and strategy. Bürkert announced that no jobs will be lost, but the organization will expand in Breda. Breda was the optimal location for Bürkert, mainly because of its favourable position to Utrecht and Wijnegem.
