Second investment seminar in Changzhou China well visited

The Vice Mayor of Changzhou opened the Investment SeminarThe second investment seminar during the Brabant trade mission took place on Wednesday April 18 in Changzhou. After the opening of the seminar by the Vice Mayor of Changzhou, the Mayor of its sister city Tilburg welcomed the audience of more than 100 people. Together with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and the City of Tilburg, BOM Foreign Investments presented the possibilities of the Netherlands, Brabant and especially Tilburg.

Gateway to Europe
The key messages during the event were the gateway the Netherlands has to offer, the multimodal facilities there are to the European mainland, the cost benefit we have to offer to some of our neighboring countries and the large diversity in (real estate) possibilities to serve European customers. Another topic were the possibilities the Netherlands has to offer to start up a business and enter the European market, as well as the benefits by low effort procedures, investments and reliabilities.

DHL more closely focused on the supply chain solutions, whereas KPMG Meijburg highlighted the fiscal opportunities that can be found by foreign companies in the Netherlands. Tilburg University added their point of view as higher education institute.

Van Gogh Experience in NanjingVan Gogh and Queens Day
Thursday April 19 the Van Gogh painting "Peasant Woman Digging" arrived in the Province of Jiangsu. This painting is part of the Van Gogh Experience at the Nanjing Municipal Museum which was officially opened by Mr Wim van de Donk (Governor of Brabant). In the afternoon there was a well visited Queens Day Reception at the Eindhoven-Nanjing Friendship Park.

 

Tomorrow the Conference regarding New Technology & Open Innovation in the Agro & Food Industry will take place in Nanjing to conclude the trade mission.
