The first Swedish Business in Brabant event, organised by BOM Foreign Investments, together with Handelsbanken and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, was a success. 40 highly esteemed guests attended the event at the inspiring venue of High Tech Campus Eindhoven to listen to presentations by Handelsbanken, BOM Foreign Investments, High Tech Campus and Ericsson. 

Prior to the presentations, the Ambassador of Sweden in the Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Håkan Emsgård shared some inspiring facts about the advanced innovation industry in Sweden. The link to Brabant was easily made.

Refreshing approach
The event was concluded with a network cocktail, which enabled the companies to reflect on their personal experiences with the Brabant Business climate. “A representative of a Swedish company found the approach refreshing, to discuss innovation based on different perspectives and backgrounds as well as networking with fellow Swedish companies.” says Lars de Vries, Project Manager at BOM Foreign Investments. 

“After my trip to Sweden in April and this event I feel we are on the right track to further build a structural relationship with the Swedish business community. Creating opportunities for both new and already established companies.” says Lars de Vries. "The established companies are also great ambassadors for us, very willing to share their experiences with potential newcomers."

2012
In 2012 BOM Foreign Investments will reinforce these relationships, and we are very pleased to that the next Swedish Business in Brabant Network will be hosted by Ericsson. Further more we are planning a trip to Sweden to follow up with the contacts made earlier this year.
