The Brabant Development Agency (
BOM) was established in 1983 and is funded and financed by the Dutch national government and the Province of Brabant.
BOM’s mission is to create, improve, maintain and develop industrial structure in Brabant by offering a range of professional services.
The four core activities are:
- BOM Foreign Investments offers free assistance to potential foreign investors, organizing fact-finding trips in Brabant, visiting potential investors abroad and supporting site-selection and negotiations with national and local authorities.
- BOM Venture Capital finances innovative, financially healthy companies and start-ups, providing equity capital and subordinated loans of up to €1,8 million.
- BOM New Business Development supports R&D programs. Initiating and stimulating innovative industrial projects, the BOM facilitates access to local, national and European business communities, universities, research centers and financial institutions. The BOM provides financing for the above-mentioned projects and privately owned companies which need equity financing.
- BOM Restructuring Industrial Areas initiates, manages and finances projects related to the restructuring of old industrial estates in the province, ensuring effective and efficient use of the available industrial land .
